1. VERSION / RULE SETTINGS
This tournament will have the basic rule settings of Madden Competitive Series and will be played on Xbox One using the latest edition of Madden, Madden NFL 20. No need to bring controllers as everything will be provided. The event is for all ages. Games will be played in custom local lobbies and each player will be on a sole single-player station for full screen advantage (no split screens!).

Any setting not listed below should not be changed from its default state within the private match lobby. The Global Settings are to be used for all game modes unless otherwise specified in the modes specific section.

We anticipate a Round Robin/Pool style format.
4. CONTROLLERS
Attendees may bring their own controllers or use devices provided.
5. PAUSING
If you must pause, you must clear it with your opponent and only when you have possession. 1st pause without notice is a warning, 2nd is an automatic 2-pt score from opponent, 3rd is potential forfeit of match.
6. SYSTEM MALFUNCTIONS
No emulation is used. If game/system malfunctions during game play, users record the current score of completed quarters and play remaining quarters. For example: game malfunctions in middle of 3rd quarter, users play 2 quarters again.
7. TOURNAMENT DISPUTES
Tournament referees decide all disputes.
8. TAMPERING
Participants are not allowed to hook up streaming or recording devices to any system that is in play during the tournament. Those caught doing so will be immediately removed from the tournament.
9. BROKEN RULES/RIGHTS OF OFFICIALS
Any broken rules will be left to the judges to deem consequence. Typically, first offense is a warning, a second is a reduction in score, a third will be forfeiture of the game and fourth banned from the tournament.
Tournament officials reserve the right to change, update, clarify, add or subtract rules, if deemed necessary.
